Ron,  t
hanks for a good day on Saturday!  I have had several persons, including several of our staff, express appreciation for your sessions and for the overall thrust of the morning.  People were clearly engaged with you, tracked with you well as you presented the material, and appreciated the challenges you gave them along the way. It was a good morning, Ron, and I've already had folks asking men when we are going to have another meeting like this one.  That, in my opinion, is always a good sign -- they want more!  Thanks for your help in making this first leadership meeting a resounding success!

Good morning, I believe you are doing great by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ron, I am short of words to describe how much God used you to be a blessing to me in the just concluded Leadership Conference in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.

I am Akinwehinmi Gbenga, who met with you and told you about how strategic your coming at that time was to my new mandate to raise leaders with special calling into politics from Nigerian campuses. Ron, honestly, God used you to change so many things in my thinking and approach to leading. I am working on all of these.

I believe we will still have course to work together in our heavenly mandate of solving the leadership problems we had always encountered in our world. God bless you, your family and your ministry.

On behalf of our leadership team I want to express heartfelt thanks to you for spending time with us at our retreat Saturday, Sept. 27.  I have received many positive comments regarding the event and particularly regarding the presentations you shared with us.

Your material was very helpful in lifting our sights regarding Christian leadership.  We were inspired and informed.  The Biblical basis that you built and established was particularly relevant for people who are continually confronted by a secular value system and a non-Christian leadership model.  Your presentations were practical and helpful.  I was impressed with all of the six topics you shared with us in this day-long seminar; but especially with "Listening Like Jesus", and "Leading a Good Meeting".

I was also impressed with the fact that you did not "talk down" to us or come in to be a "critical-analytical" observer.  You truly did model a Biblical style in the tone and emphasis in your presentations.  We were all benefited and would gladly re-invite you to share with our leaders on another occasion.

It was a truly affirming experience for us.  May God continue to bless you and your leadership ministry.

I sincerely want to thank you for coming to Hillsboro (Ohio) last weekend. I would agree with others that you do sincerely possess a plethora of leadership gifts and a sense of how to communicate those gifts in ways that are encouraging and edifying to the individuals in the group as well as convicting and challenging to those (of us) who need to be challenged to change. Having worked with you for the past year in a variety of situations related to the Great Lakes District (EFCA), I am also able to say with confidence that the principles you presented are not just theoretical or academic in nature. I have seen firsthand how you personally have applied and effectively put into practice those very same principles. In a day when charlatans seem to be multiplying by the truckloads, it is indeed refreshing to encounter someone who not only talks a good game, but lives it as well. Our leadership team is already making plans to implement the principles they learned from your visit.

Dear Sir,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I am happy that you are back home and the memory of our training event is still fresh in my mind.  It will take a long time to remove it from my mind. To start with, the Leadership training conference we had in Akure and Sagamu is the best thing that have ever happen to us.  This is the only Leadership training event that have meet up with what God have put in my heart to do in the work of the ministry.

Your approach to leadership training is simple and rooted in the biblical principles. TheChristianLeader.org has created a serious and indelible mark in the heart of leaders in Nigeria. Up to the time I am writing this letter they have not allowed me to rest with their phone calls. Some want me to come to theri church to organize such a meeting while others were saying how the meeting have changed their mindset about leadership in the church and outside the church.

Extend my greetings to your wife and children.  We love you and God we continue to strengthen you in every area of your life in Jesus name.  Amen.

Yours in His Service,

I thank the Lord; and, I thank you for the tedious preparation you made before coming to Sierra Leone to teach us on Leadership. Let me be frank with you, your lessons and notes on Leadership has sharpened my horizon. As God Almighty could have it, just after I graduated, my Mission (Wesleyan Church of Sierra Leone/American Wesleyan Mission) has assigned me to Leadership in one of its biggest Church in the city. Added to that, I have gained appointment as a per time lecturer at the Evangelical College of Theology - Jui. Over and above, I thank Bethel Church in Crown Point, Indiana for endorsing your coming to Sierra Leone. Your lectures on Leadership have been very instrumental to me.

Love in Christ,

Pastor Alie G. Kamara

Great seminar! I am excited that the cultural mandate is being brought to life here in Northwest Indiana and beyond by your organization.  I can tell from your zeal and passion for the subject matter that you are gifted to carry this on.

Thanks for hosting this week’s conference. The speakers provided a good mix of challenging and encouraging thoughts. It was also wonderful opportunity to interact with business and church leaders and to discuss current issues. I look forward to future conferences to stimulate my thinking in the area of Christian Leadership.

There is clearly a prominent world view of leadership, which focuses on personal gain. I work for a Fortune 100 company and it is amazing to me how prevalent this type of leadership is modeled throughout the work place and the subtle influences it has on me as a manager.

I conformed my own leadership style as a manager in my company and a servant-leader in my church to the biblical leadership style that was taught and the results were amazing. My staff is more energized, responsive, respectful, and the quality of their work has improved overall. The biblical leadership taught in the course is very effective. I highly recommend TCL’s leadership course and consulting services for secular business and Christian settings.

Just for starters, I want to say that the class opened my eyes to a whole new level of leadership in my life. My mindset idea of leadership is one who is very aggressive, very outgoing, competitive, domineering, and forceful. I personally do not have these qualities so therefore I have always backed away from this type of role. Due to the training of this class, I now know that my personality does match that of a leader. I am much more laid back, a bit shy and I don't sweat the small stuff, unlike a lot of other leaders, which probably will work for them but not me. So needless to say, this class was very educational.

My intentions for this class was to make sure I was not missing some important pieces of being in a leadership role, kind of like the puzzle you showed, and now I realize that I can do it. I will be doing public speaking in the near future on Health and Wellness that I have recently been certified to do. I will be a part of helping people live healthier lives and that is very exciting.

It was interesting to learn and too understand the roles of a leader within the church and to follow the lead of what God is showing us which is very plainly explained in the Bible. I would recommend this class to others due to the fact that leadership is very important, not only in the workplace, but in the home, and at church.  I hope that more people take the class so they may become more knowledgeable of taking on a leadership role. A lot of people just are not taught on how to be a leader (especially at home).

Thank you for teaching this class. I hope that all the leaders that are at the church are required to take this class.

I have known Ron Porter for several years as a business associate.  I have a great deal of respect for him and his heart for Christian business people and the calling the Lord has on their lives.  I would encourage any business professional to learn and emulate the leadership skills being taught in his series.
